Hole #3, The ABYSS, par 5  is 468 yds. from the back tees.  The drive is a blind shot which must be played to the center right of the fairway to have a chance to go for the green in two. A yellow flag marks the center of the fairway.  The green is guarded by heavy rough left and the tree line right.  Approach shots hit to the left of the green will tend to feed back to the center, if they are high and soft.
