A note before you get started:  We want to assist you in having a good time while you are here.  You can help by paying attention to staff instructions and course signs and extending common courtesy, both to your fellow golfers ahead of and behind you, and to the course and its equipment.  If you have a medical issue or difficulty with course equipment, please contact the clubhouse by cell phone if you have access to one.  We do not have designated "rangers" on the course.   All course staff are instructed to monitor your play.

We will not "push" you to a fixed timeline. (As a reference, a foursome should be able to complete 9 holes in just over two hours.)   However, we do expect you to be using tees appropriate to your skills, and that you will routinely allow any group you might be holding up to play through.  Please do not take offense at a gentle reminder.

Course staff will ask you to leave the course without refund if you are observed damaging the course, the equipment, operating carts in restricted areas, engaging in behavior that is unsafe for others, or deliberately interfering with the play of others.   We reserve the right to ask obviously impaired persons who have abused adult beverages to leave.  Refusal to do so will likely result in contact with the police.  (The previous should go "without saying" to real golfers.  Unfortunately, we have discovered that it must be said... So, be a "real" golfer, wherever you play.)

In case of severe weather, we may close the course for your safety and that of the course staff until such time as safe play may be resumed.  Any sighting of lightning is a signal that you should return to the clubhouse immediately for your own safety, with or without staff warning.  Please pay attention to your personal safety.  The staff is not trained in the retrieval of "fried parts."

If, because of inclement weather, you have not completed 5 holes of your round, you will be given a full "rain check."

Hole #1, DEW DROP,  is 410 yds. Par 4, from the back tees.  It plays longer because drives tend to die into the rising fairway.  Play your drive to the center left of the fairway beyond the tree-line that guards the left rough for your best view of the green.  The range to the right is out of bounds.  Beware hitting past the hole.  The green slopes dramatically back to front.  Poorly stroked putts or chips have been known to roll all the way off the front!
